Member Registration Information

MEMBERSHIP

KAS-Certified Kinesiologist Memberships are administered by our national body, the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance. Memberships are active from the date of purchase to December 31st of that year, or can be purchased starting in November for the following year. Registrations are completed through the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance Member Portal, found at this link. For more information or for assistance with registration, email us.

Membership Categories

PROFESSIONAL KINESIOLOGIST

KAS Certified Kinesiologist

A Professional Kinesiologist Membership is available to any individual who practices kinesiology, has achieved a minimum academic standard (a 4 year university degree in Kinesiology or equivalent program), has a successfully completed an examination process (if applicable), meets continuing education requirements, complies with the code of ethics, and carries proper professional liability insurance for the complete Scope of Practice of kinesiology.

Professional Kinesiologist memberships are administered by our national partner, the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance, and you can apply for membership through their website.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS

An Associate Members is an individual who has a university degree or college diploma in Kinesiology or an equivalent discipline, who is not currently employed or engaged in the practice of kinesiology, who meets the requirements of Professional Membership and has no intention of practicing for the duration of their membership, but wishes to be kept informed and take part in the activities of KAS. Associate Memberships are administered by our national partner, the CKA, and you can apply for membership through their website.

STUDENT MEMBERS

A free Student Membership is available to any person enrolled in a four-year university program in kinesiology or an equivalent discipline in Saskatchewan. Student Members gain access to networking benefits, potential job opportunities, career coaching, and free or discounted education content.

ACADEMIC MEMBERS

An Academic Member is an individual who is currently employed by a post-secondary institution in a teaching and/or research capacity in kinesiology and wishes to be informed and/or take part in the activities of KAS, but does not practice kinesiology outside of their academic employment. Academic memberships are administered by our national partner, the CKA, and you can apply for membership through their website.
