Passionate about exercise therapy? So are we!
Our CBI Health Centre is looking for a full-time Kinesiologist to complement our talented interdisciplinary team. This is your opportunity to do the work you love every day. Using your exercise therapy skills, you will achieve outstanding clinical outcomes and client engagement with the people that you treat while helping your clients to return to work and everyday activities at all stages of rehabilitation.
As an Kinesiologist engaged in your profession, you enjoy working with colleagues and clients to deliver exceptional exercise therapy services. You are an engaging and effective communicator. You enjoy collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop thorough treatment programs and are confident working one-on-one with clients. You embrace the challenge of providing excellent access and effective case management so that our clients can return to their pre-injury status as quickly as possible.
In addition to having your CSEP-CEP designation, you share the same values and vision as us: A drive to learn and improve. A passion to provide clients with great access to exceptional care. And because we like to have fun at work, you have a friendly, energetic, and team-oriented nature. 18 months’ experience is required.
About the Role:
Working in a multi-disciplinary setting, you collaborate with physical therapists and work as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing exercise therapy, return to work and activities of daily living coordination, goal setting, education, job site visits and team meetings. Our clinic serves clients with acute injuries, complex conditions and has concussion programs for junior WHL, Triple A Hockey and other Sport Academy injury rehab programs.
You will excel at this opportunity if:
- You like to challenge yourself to learn new skills, and develop professionally.
- You are an excellent communicator and value a collaborative approach to delivering treatment
- You would like the opportunity to develop your skills in comprehensive care while maintaining a connection to acute care.
- You can practice independently and are proficient at prescribing and instructing exercise programs.
